Minnie Webb worked at Doultons in the 1920s, but the exact dates of her employment are not known. She was essentially a ceramic artist and not a designer.

Works by her are still reasonably numerous and they show a great competence. The two works illustrated are typical of her work. They represent the period when Art Nouveau was giving way to Art Deco.

A pair of Art Nouveau 9” vases, one by Minnie Webb
Of the pair of vases, Minnie Webb produced only one. The other was made by Maud Bowden, as competent a ceramic artist as any, and it is credit to Minnie Webb that the quality of the two is similar.
